NATCON is Just Around the Corner!
We are always looking to develop new leaders for the club so we want to give everyone who's already signed up for the SVA the first shot at this amazing opportunity. We’re excited to offer you an exclusive chance to shine! Thanks to a generous grant from the ODVA, we’re offering 8 scholarships for veterans to attend the National Student Veterans of America Conference (NATCON) in beautiful Colorado Springs from January 2nd - 4th, 2025. These scholarships cover airfare, lodging, and conference registration!
To apply, head over to the PCC SVA PantherHub website. The application requires an essay, a resume, and an interview for finalists. We’re accepting applications for the next two weeks, but don’t wait until the deadline of October 25th—the committee will be reviewing applications as they come in!

But that’s not all! Mark your calendars for an incredible technology-focused job fair at PCC Sylvania on the evening of November 7th, brought to you by Northwest Vets in Tech (NWVIT) and the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO). This is your chance to explore career paths, interview for jobs, and participate in tech boot camps! You might even get offered a job!
Join Us for Regular Meetings!
We also want to keep the momentum going with regular meetings every third week of the month. Our first general member meeting is set for Thursday, October 17th—stay tuned for more details! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow veterans, dive into engaging discussions, and build community.
