NATCON Scholarship Opportunity – Apply Now!
We’re always looking for ways to help our members grow as leaders, and we’re thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for those already signed up with SVA. Thanks to a generous grant from the ODVA, we’re awarding **8 scholarships** to attend the **National Student Veterans of America Conference (NATCON)** in **Colorado Springs** from **January 2nd-4th, 2025**. The scholarship covers **airfare, lodging, and conference registration**!
To apply, visit the **PCC SVA PantherHub website**. You’ll need to submit an essay and answer a few questions. Finalists will have an opportunity to polish their resumes with our career services department before they go. We’re accepting applications until **November 8th**, so don’t wait—the committee will be reviewing applications as they come in!
Don't Miss the Tech Job Fair!
In addition to NATCON, we’ve got another exciting event coming up! On **November 7th**, the **PCC Sylvania campus** will host a **technology-focused job fair** in partnership with **Northwest Vets in Tech (NWVIT)** and the **Technology Association of Oregon (TAO)**. Whether you’re exploring career options or looking to land your next job, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet employers, learn about job openings, and even join tech boot camps. It could be your next big career move!
Join Us for Monthly Meetings!
Stay connected and involved by joining us for our regular meetings, held on the **3rd Thursday of every month**. Our next general meeting will be on **November 21st**—more details coming soon! These meetings are a great chance to meet fellow veterans, discuss important topics, and build a supportive community.
